Our purpose with Injury Massage is to look for the cause of dysfunction and help relieve chronic and acute pain by working on major muscles in segments with specific, deeper technique to stimulate individual muscle fibers.

To help the client become pain-free, our massage therapists follow certain steps to ensure a successful recovery:

  • Eliminate spasm and hyper-contraction in the tissue (therapy).
  • Restore proper biomechanics (R.O.M.)
  • Restore flexibility to the tissues (stretching).
  • Rebuild the strength of the injured tissues (exercise).
  • Build endurance (conditioning exercises).

The therapist’s job is to use massage to help alleviate pain, swelling, scar tissue, and muscle spasms, poor skin conditions following casting, contractures and insufficient circulation.  Injury Massage is used to help with:

  • Strains, sprains, tears, and contusions

  • Post-fracture care

  • Postural deviations

  • Tension headaches

  • Peripheral neuritis

  •  Multiple sclerosis

  • Parkinson’s disease

  • Poliomyelitis

  • Neurasthenia
